At a work conference in Nashville and didn’t have time to get hot chicken before we left so of course had to try it at the airport. I have got RESPECT now for Nashville hot chicken.
Yes, I was a hater at first, saying I was Asian and do they even know what heat is and I wanted it as hot as possible as long as I could still taste it, so Hattie B’s gave me “damn hot” and they were not playing. To the employee who I sassed and you didn’t even act offended – you were right. It was hot.
Alternated between 3 drinks and still burned my face off (and my friend who was sharing wtih me) but it was totally worth it. The mac and cheese was delicious too. Fast service, not a ton of seating (airport life), but altogether an enjoyable experience at Hattie B’s. I’ll be back.
